A 35-year-old mother, Regina Ankomah, and her three young children have died after fire gutted their home at Twifo Hemang Zongo in the Heman Lower Denkyira of the central region.
Reports say the fire started around midnight on Saturday, just after 12 a.m.
Neighbours believe a candle may have caused the fire. They disclosed that there was power outage in the evening, leading them to use candles.
Properties at the house are burnt completely with the charred remains burnt beyond recognition.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the fire service.
