The Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency,Hon Felix Kwakye Ofosu who is also the Minister In Charge of Government Communications, Hon. Daniel Mensah Wardy(DCE, Abura Asebu Kwamankese District) and Vantage Mobilty LTD have launched a groundbreaking initiative to improve the mobility and economic well being of government, private sector workers and other individuals in the district.
The program in collaboration with Vantage Mobility Limited will allow government workers and private sector workers to acquire electric motorbikes and tricycles at affordable prices, with flexible payment terms.
This initiative, as part of the Member of Parliament fulfilling his promise to the constituents is expected to boost the morale and productivity of workers ultimately contributing to the district's growth and development.
The launch ceremony , held at the forecourt of the district assembly on Monday, June 9,2025 was attended by government workers, local leaders and stakeholders. In his remarks, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu emphasized the importance of this initiative to aid the mobility of government workers and other private workers and explained the benefits of these electric motorbikes and tricycles compared to fuel powered ones.
The DCE, Hon Daniel Mensah Wardy echoed these sentiments, highlighting the potential benefits of the scheme for the district's development.
The launch of the hire purchase scheme marks a significant milestone in the district's efforts to support its people and promote development. As the program takes off, it is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of government workers, private workers and the district as a whole.
Hon Felix Kwakye Ofosu used the occasion to donate over three thousand (3,000 ) mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates in the district.
He further supported the invigilators who would be supervising the conduct of the BECE in the district with an amount of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 10,000.00).
Speaking exclusively with Ofoforo Radio 96.7 MHz, Dr. Mrs. Juliette D. Otami ( Central Regional Director of Education) was grateful to the Member of Parliament for such a great gesture.
